Our lawyers provide advice and representation to a broad range of clients relating to real property assessment, taxation and expropriation issues. These include commercial developers, ports, industries, terminal operators, large and small businesses, charitable organizations and individuals.

We act in administrative appeals at all levels and in court litigation regarding property valuations, assessments, taxation and expropriation disputes. Our lawyers have acted in one of the very few Supreme Court of Canada cases relating to property assessment and taxation, which addressed issues under federal legislation and the payment in lieu of taxes.
