Harvey is a co-managing director at Owen Bird LC and has developed a practice that is divided between labour and employment law and general litigation. He is results oriented and strives, at all times, to obtain the best result possible as efficiently as possible. His understanding of the various tribunals and courts allows Harvey to give both efficient and practical advice.
Harvey has the ability to guide clients though the dispute resolution process so that clients are understanding of the process and the results that can be achieved.
Harvey acts for management in labour law matters and for both employers and employees in employment law matters, including wrongful dismissal disputes. He has appeared before the all relevant administrative law tribunals (such as the Employment Standards Tribunal, Human Rights Tribunal, Worker’s Compensation Appeal Tribunal) as well as before the Supreme Court, Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada.
Harvey has a diverse practice that includes all aspects of employment/labour law as well as construction litigation, shareholder issues and breach of contract matters.
