Owen Bird Law Corporation is pleased to announce that Kari Richardson, George Roper, Dan Coles and Jocelyn Bellerud became shareholders of the firm effective January 1, 2018. Kari, George, Dan and Jocelyn have made significant contributions to Owen Bird and its clients during their years as associates.
Kari represents public companies and companies intending to go public on Canadian stock exchanges and the OTC. Her practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and securities. Kari represents clients from a wide range of industries, including technology, blockchain, mining, aquaculture and ACMPR Licensed Producers.
George is a civil litigator with a broad range of experience. George was called to the Bar of British Columbia in June 2011. Since that time he has acquired considerable experience in complicated commercial cases involving negligence, breach of contract, and other disputes. George looks forward to continuing to provide clients of the firm effective, cost-efficient advice and outcomes.
Dan appears regularly before the courts and administrative tribunals of British Columbia. His broad litigation experience and assertive personality allow him to consistently deliver meaningful results to his clients. Dan is actively involved in British Columbia’s dynamic hospitality and liquor manufacturing industries.
Jocelyn practices in the areas of corporate and commercial law. She has broad experience in implementing complex corporate reorganizations, structuring asset and share purchases and advising clients on wealth preservation management and succession planning for family business.
