Lina Yeom
Associate
Lina is a member of the Litigation Group who specializes in insurance defence, family law and estates litigation. Lina is fluent in Korean and is a certified family law mediator.
Lina obtained her juris doctorate from Thompson Rivers University in 2020. She then articled and worked as an associate for a well-known litigation firm in Vancouver, where she handled issues of varying complexity in the areas of insurance defence, family law and estates litigation. Lina has appeared before the Supreme Court and the Provincial Court of British Columbia.
Lina recognizes that her clients should obtain their desired outcomes as efficiently as possible. She also recognizes that there are cultural and language barriers to litigation. With these in mind, Lina makes every effort to be attentive to each client’s needs and expectations and to deliver results.
During law school, Lina was active in her roles as executive member for the TRU Indigenous Law Students’ Association and as volunteer with multiple legal aid clinics.
In her spare time, Lina likes to travel, spend time with her family and explore new trails.
