Owen Bird is pleased to announce that Yicong Li has joined our firm as the newest member of our Litigation Practice Group. Yicong has a commercial litigation practice, with a focus on construction and property disputes and appears regularly before the Supreme Court of British Columbia. Yicong received her law degree from Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto. Yicong will practice family and civil litigation at Owen Bird.
Prior to joining Owen Bird, Yicong practiced as an Associate at a leading law firm in Vancouver. Her experience includes complex commercial litigation matters involving construction disputes, shareholder and partnership conflicts, real estate and financing disputes, and asset preservation remedies. Yicong has appeared as counsel in multi-party hearings before the Supreme Court of British Columbia and is recognized for her practical, client-focused approach to advocacy.
