The shareholders at Owen Bird are pleased to welcome Kari Richardson as Associate Counsel to the firm.
Kari has practiced in the Securities Law area for more than fifteen years where she has represented both public and private companies in Canada and in the United States.
Kari also served as a Foreign Service Officer with the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade for six years which included a posting at the Canadian High Commission in Cameroon as the Political and Economic Program Manager and Vice Consul.
Kari’s practice includes assisting clients in private placements, mergers and acquisitions and going public in Canada and the United States. She has also helped clients execute reverse takeovers, PIPE transactions, equity and convertible debt financings, cross-border transactions and exchange listings.
