
Rose-Mary Basham, Q.C.
Associate Counsel
Rose-Mary has been a Queen’s Counsel since 1989 and has been named one of the best lawyers in Canada in corporate and commercial and family law litigation for a number of years. Her broad litigation experience and aggressive and fearless approach in Court has earned her a reputation of being one of the toughest litigators in Vancouver and has allowed her to consistently deliver good results to her clients.
Rose-Mary acts for clients from a diverse range of fields and industries including: real estate developers, entrepreneurs with shopping centres and other real estate holdings and radio and TV stations, and individuals and corporations with multi-jurisdictional assets. She has also acted in constitutional and human rights challenges. She has extensive experience as a trial and appellate counsel in the Supreme Court and Court of Appeal of British Columbia and has appeared in the Supreme Court of Canada.
Rose-Mary was born in Hong Kong and attended high school and university in British Columbia. She is fluent in Cantonese.
